| | Vancouver, August 9th, 2004 - Diamonds North Resources Ltd (DDN-TSX Venture) announces the grant of incentive stock options under the Company's stock option plan to directors, employees and consultants to purchase an aggregate of 645,000 treasury shares. The options are exercisable for a period of five years at a price of $1.10 per share and are subject to the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
